Willy Apitz (27 January 1916 – 28 February 2004) was a German ''Unteroffizier'' in the Wehrmacht during World War II. Apitz was born on 27 January 1916 in Zanin near in Landsberg an der Warthe, present-day Gorzów Wielkopolski. As a corporal, and radio operator in the 10 company of artillery regiment 81, he received the Knight's Cross on 1 January 1944.
